It's a loving thing

First of all the focus is spot on. The details in the shell are very delightful.

Composition:
The composition of the subject however could be a bit better. I would have preferred if the ladybird was positioned a bit further to the right as that would have given the subject room to look.

The heart shapes do add interest to the picture though and are a good idea.

Post processing:
The bokeh to the left is a little disstracting and I would be tempted to darken that area a bit to draw the viewer's eye back to the main subject.

All in all its a delightful little piece that I would be very happy with if it was mine.
